Finally the day had come. I was bursting out with excitement. When i came to school with my brother and sister. The bell rang for us. Then we had to get into 2 lines for the walk around our school from the other gate to the other and while we were doing the walk with the whole school and the kindergarten. We sang savalivali maia until we made it into the hall and we gathered in a bunch up with a lot of people from different cultures from around the world. The pastor started us off with a prayer.Jarrod had picked some kids to say there mihi in samoan after  that our teacher  was talking for a minute. It was time to eat. I ate chop sui, chicken, sausage, potato. After When We All Finished Our Food. Jarrod Came Up And Entertained Us the parents and kids with our pserformances.

Having the ability to say no to negativity is
victory in itself

Wednesday 4 MaY 2016

My thoughts

Having the ability to say no to negativity is the best feeling ever. It is like i’m able to soar through the sky and say NO!!.For example when a person encourages you to do something bad, and you are able to say no with all the power you have. This is a quote I want to inspire people.I want to look in someone's eyes and say, I can do whatever,

if i were a tui

If I were a tui I would love to collect shiny nectar from kowhai, flax and fruit from the highest trees.

I would be black, white blue are red  with a long tail with beautiful wings to fly in the air while feeling the very cold breeze.

Most tui are found up in the north island we love to sing and fly up high in the sky to keep away from other creatures bigger than me.

My favorite thing to do is sing with my pray tui are related to other bird like kereru and more tui  are small herbivore.

If I Were A Animal - Treina

Bird:

If I were a Magpie I would love to collect shiny stuff like

diamonds, coins, scissors and other things. I would be black

and white with a long tail with beautiful wings to fly in the air

while feeling the very cold breeze. The way I will hunt for my

prey would be following it to where it will go and sneak out of

the my hiding spot and eat my prey while it is looking at

something. About me the Magpie. I like to play games, eat

fruit of trees and collect food in the winter, i'm separated from

my family of birds and mostly snatching shiny things off

people and birds with my four big claws. All my family live in

New Zealand except me that live in Australia and love to sing

gracefully with my friends just like me.

My Chromebook - Chelsea

Yay! Today is the day today is the day, When that day eventually arrived i was thrilled and filled with joy that it was time we received our own Chromebooks. We had a little celebration and while we were receiving our chromebooks the students from Te Whakapipiri o nga reo were singing a beautiful hymn. For sure the whole of Togipātauile’ave were pleased to have a Chromebook of their own. This is an once in a life time opportunity for all of us in Togipātauile’ave because students from the previous years never had this opportunity and we should be thankful that we are experiencing what it’s like to actually have a device to work with of our own. Now i would like to say thanks to Matua Niulesa, our teachers and the board of trustees for accepting and allowing us to have our own devices to use as another learning tool in our classroom.

HARAMBE READ PLZZZZZ- Tj is the man :3

Last week Te whakapipiri o nga reo went to kaikoura. It was a very boring drive there. When we arrived at the marae we got welcomed on. Then after all of the speeches we did the hongi. As soon as we finished the hongi we went inside to settle in. That night we had mince and doritos.

The next day we went for a walk up the mountain. As we were walking Ronson rolled his anckle.
